Thanks for re-contextualizing the place for me. In Catholic circles in Mississippi, Chatawa is synonymous with the nuns/retreat center that used to be there. "Going down to Chatawa" was a ladies church retreat weekend.
Yeah, wow, I thought about incorporating that place, as I've definitely enjoyed some walks by the old convent/center. It's such a lovely, out-of-scale place, compared to the smallness of the rest of the community. Hope all is well in your corner of the world!
